With Eid approaching, ensuring safe, smooth, and hassle-free travel has become a top priority for residents. To promote road safety and responsible travel, the Mymensingh Urban Youth Council, in partnership with SERAC-Bangladesh and the Mymensingh City Corporation, organized a day-long traffic awareness campaign on March 19, 2026, at Balashpur Hakkani More, Mymensingh.

The program was attended by Mr. Rokonuzzaman Sarkar Rokon, Administrator of Mymensingh City Corporation, as the chief guest. He highlighted the importance of public safety, urging citizens to follow traffic rules, stay vigilant against theft and robbery, and take all necessary precautions to reach home safely during the festive season.

As part of the campaign, volunteers used microphone announcements to raise awareness among nearby residents, helping to prevent traffic congestion and inconvenience. Through these efforts, the public was encouraged to follow traffic rules, avoid unnecessary stops on the road, and adopt patient, responsible behavior while traveling. This initiative serves as a timely and effective step toward making Eid journeys in Mymensingh safer and more comfortable for all citizens.
