A research study titled "Understanding the Dynamics of Sexual Harassment Against Women and Evaluating the Efficacy of Prevention and Intervention" was organized on behalf of Adhuna Bangladesh Limited, a research organization run by the Office of the DIG of Mymensingh Range, funded by Bangladesh Police, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sanjida Akhtar of the Department of Women and Gender Studies, Dhaka University, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Billal Hossain of the Department of Population Sciences.
Youth councilors of Mymensingh Urban Youth Council participated in the study. The results of the study will improve existing laws, policies and prevention systems to make society safer for women.
