On 30th September 2022, SERAC-Bangladesh organized a National Launching Ceremony of Standardized UYC Guideline. This meeting was held at Gulshan Lakeshore hotel in Dhaka with the presence of the honorable Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Mustakim Billah Faruqui, Strategic Planner and Head of RCO Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh Subhra Bhattacharjee, and Professor Bashir Ahmed from the Department of Government & Politics of Jahangirnagar University attended as guests, while others including Govt. and Non-Govt. Officials, Civil Society Representatives, and Journalists. Also virtually attend 4 city corporation CEOs, Urban Planners, Program management officer of UN-Habitat Douglas Ragan, Olga Tsaplina, program officer of UN-Habitat, and task force members of the urban youth councils. In that meeting discussion on standardized Urban Youth Council Guidelines and unwrapping UYC Guideline.
